Ik ben ook wel eens benieuwd naar de source code achter dit programma. Je zegt dat het open source is, zou je me dan ook de code kunnen bezorgen. Ik vraag me af of er voor zo iets te maken veel code nodig is eigenlijk.

Het oogt in alle geval al goed!

I’ve seen your code and I think the only way is you implement your own glwidget extending QGLWidget and eventually disabling plane clipping in the glInit() member function of your own class. You can find several examples in the Qt4 doc. I didn’t try to do it but I’m pretty sure this would work. I’m not sure though if that stuff you do with the QTransform still works – I think it will, anyway.
